Total Posts: 19 Joined status: Regular There’s a difference between ‘Kontakt sounds’ (= samples) and vsti’s (= synths). Kontakt sounds are fairly easy to convert if you have access to the.wav (or.aif) waveforms. Just make a Motif waveform out of them by loading them in John Melas’ Motif Waveform Editor. Next step would be to load them into Motif and make instruments with these. VSTi synths are more difficult because this is a restricted format (.fxp,.fxb) that only the synth can read. You could sample the synth with something like Extreme Sample Convertor and than take the steps above for loading samples into the Motif.
