Colt Serial Number Ending N700

Thanks for the info guys, I guess I'm being a little money causious, as I said earlier this was intended for show purpose, and would not get used much. Thats why I was considering a replica vs. I see that I could get a M-203 with 37mm barrel from Mr. 40mm for about $2275 which is fine if i would use it much, but I dont see myself spending that much. Was curious is all as to what's available in the $100 to $1000 market if any, the biggest problem I see with the lower end models (Cobray, DPMS) is that they dont 'look the part'. They got ugly charging handles on the side, was really hoping for what appeared to be a genuine M-203 config. To me, mounting a cheap looking model on a beautiful weapon just doesn't cut it.

But I really appreciate the info none the less Bob. Hey Conway, don't let the Airsoft haters get you down. I guess their PD's can all afford to train with Simunitions FX cartridges.

Bottom line, airsoft does have a place in good training. Here's a link to the one I have on my 6920. I also have several (7) M-4's I run my guys through scenario's with. You will need to buy a small piece of rail that you can bolt directly to the handguards of your 6920 to mount it. They are available from Midwest Industries for under $20. This vendor is very trustworthy and I've never had a complaint after buying close to 20 items from them.

Colt Delta Elite Serial Number

Found it on EBay, payed $175 for the whole package, I have to say I am trully amazed by it. Not only does it look exactly like the real 203, but it's just about as heavy, all metal, the frame is made heavy metal, the only plastic on it is the polymer handgrip.

The Quick detach mount is G & P. I found a link for this on an airsoft website and will provide the link here if other's are interested in it. I had to go on various websites to check this out and make sure it wasn't a real M-203, I dont want to get in any hot water and end up taking a trip to Club Fed.

I have to admit I was fooled, this was so real to me, I figured someone just wanted to get rid of a 203 they should not have had, but, safe to say, this is in fact a replica airsoft launcher. Any website you go on that sells this exact launcher if you look closely at the pics you would see they have the same serial number of 101389. When I decided I wanted to add one to my real 6920, I wasn't sure if it would mount properly, but after getting it, I mounted it right up, no modifications at all, it slid on to the barrel under the handguards, the pin fit in a slot under the barrel nut. And then the quick disconnect clamped to the barrel at the step down. After going to the range one afternoon and putting almost 400 rounds through it, I checked to see if there was any damage to the mounts. Other than being very warm If you are interested in the look of having an M-203, this is the way to go.

I believe it is possible to get cannister rounds for it legally. Basically big shotgun rounds. You can legally get HE rounds for it too, you just have to pay the $200 DD stamp per each. I don't believe you need a DD stamp for them they don't explode. They are an oversized shotgun round. I not sure were but I have seen people at gun shows who have made a couple of different 40mm rounds that only shoot shot or multiple small rounds like 22LR. I meant for the HE rounds.
